CHECK OUR CAMPAIGN PAGE TO SEE THE LATEST UPDATES!

The first 50 backers will get an EXCLUSIVE species tag conbadge featuring Farley the lynx. These will NEVER be available outside of this fundraiser, so pledge now before you miss out! All badges of this limited edition will be signed by the artist and numbered on the back, and will be given out in order.

Non-custom items will ship in Spring 2022! But it’s still perfect for delayed holiday gifts; all backers will have access to a FREE printable present card as soon as they back the campaign! :D

Left: preview of the printable present card. Right: instructions on how the card works (back the fundraiser, print, fold and gift the card).

ALL backers who are also currently Patreon supporters of Eevachu (on either of their Patreons) – including those who join now – will get extra free made-for-the-campaign gifts! Gifts will scale to what level patron you are, so the higher level you pledge, the more gifts you’ll get. Designs will be revealed to patrons closer to campaign close.

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD MOOOOOOOOOOOOOORNING and welcome to Camp Feral!

…Okay, maybe not actually Camp Feral. Not even so much of a camp. I guess this is a fundraiser? Well, okay then! Welcome to the 2021 Camp Feral! Fundraiser! But also: good morning.

If this actually were Camp Feral! you would probably be getting off a school bus filled with all your furry friends and enjoying the nature that is Algonquin provincial park. You’d be canoeing, enjoying s’mores by a campfire, enjoying the beautiful scenery, shooting arrows (sometimes the foam kind that you can shoot at each other), beating on random objects in a drum circle, or doing your best to play a strange version of water polo that involves a watermelon that’s been greased up by our good friend Crono!

Ok, so maybe it was silly of us to try and deceive you into thinking this was Camp Feral! That’s our bad. But can you blame us?! It’s been 2 years since we were all together at camp and there’s another year to go before we’ll see each other there again! Missing your friends this much sometimes makes you do strange things.

But hey! Now that you’re at our lovely fundraiser we might as well tell you why we’re here. Given that it’s been so long since the last time we were all able to get together, Feral! needs your support. Despite not having a camp for 2020 or 2021, we’ve still had some operational costs and we need some help to keep things going until we can get to our next camp.

We know our community is awesome and you’d do anything you could to support us and keep Feral! going if we just asked, but we want to give you something back in return! So we launched this crowdfunding campaign as a way of raising funds for Camp Feral! as well as giving you the opportunity to get some sweet Camp Feral! merch similar to what we have offered at camp in the past, but in the non-camp version… the camp forbidden version.

So please consider helping us out so we can keep Feral! going until the next time we’re all together at camp again! The real camp! We won’t deceive you again, we promise.

– Camp Feral! Staff

Farley the Lynx (He/Him)

Farley was Feral’s first mascot back in 1998 where he met many good friends, developed a love of learning, and indefatigably took part in all activities. That was until 2003 when, unexpectedly, Farley went AWOL. It wouldn’t be until 2017, for Feral’s 20th event, that he returned much, much bigger and much, much hotter- Er! Um! Stronger! He’s much, ahem… stronger.💦 He occasionally shows up to flex before disappearing into the woods.

Pawnee the [Mumbles Incoherently] (He/Him)

Pawnee has been Camp Feral’s mascot since our return to Algonquin Park in 2004. Over the years he has taken on many roles at camp including advisor to the Chair (especially after Feral! 2012’s time-travel incident), mystical protector of the woods, Lilypad overseer, and on two occasions hockey-masked Camper slasher. We’re pretty certain he has abandoned that role for good. He also made an appearance in a Megan Lane music video.

Weeko the Porcupine (She/Her)

Weeko first appeared as a Camp Feral! mascot in 2007, to celebrate the 10th event. She was often seen goofing around with Pawnee, hitting bullseyes at the archery range, and was essential in 2010’s takedown of Pawnee (at the time referring to himself as Jason Furhees). Since then she occasionally swings in but prefers to work behind the scenes protecting camp from other supernatural phenomena.

Slendermoose the Horrifying Woodland Cryptid

Slendermoose appeared as Jason Furhees’ nemesis in 2015 for Feral! the 13th Part 2. Whether this made Jason the protagonist we aren’t quite certain. All we can be sure of is that they left drawings everywhere, seemed to have an aversion to musicals, were often spotted by campers as they took shortcuts through the woods, and are suspected in the disappearance of several staff. Weeko continues to monitor, but Slendermoose hasn’t been seen since the very beginning of camp in 2016.

…Or has he?

Nowhere the Raccoon (They/Them)

Making their camp debut here in the digital world, Nowhere is a Toronto raccoon that likes to sing a tune! No one is exactly sure where they came from or why their name seems to be a reference to our beloved camp venue, they just sort of showed up at our inaugural 2021 Park Day rocking a nonbinary bandanna and a guitar. Feral! is happy to have the help with all our musical events tho, so if you hear music you can probably find Nowhere there.

Gibnosib the Woolly Mammoth (He/They)

Also making their debut this year is: Gibnosib! An older dude, Gibs (for short) is a greymuzzle mostly here for the food, not so much the rigorous outdoor activities. (His ankles just aren’t what they used to be, y’know?) Whether it be churros, s’mores, the sponsor event or anything the kitchen is cooking up, this big guy will be hanging around, happy to chat with friends old and new.

The Royal Rabbits

Turns out if you leave your camp unattended for two years, rabbits can take over and form some sort of brutal lapine monarchy.  While mildly concerning that they have full control of the archery range,  at least they were willing to lend their visage to our camp cause!

Adler the Eagle (He/Him) & Blazen the Dragon (He/Him)

Every Camp Feral! needs some guests of honour, and luckily we had a couple hanging around!

Adler the Eagle is an animator, fursuiter, and content creator who promotes a positive attitude through videos that entertain and inspire. Whether he is telling an embarrassing story about his childhood, giving marching bands the respect they deserve, comically reviewing bargain bin products, or spending New Years Eve streaming and raising funds for charity, his goal is always the same: to help you smile and encourage you to help someone else smile too.

Blazen the Dragon is a fursuiter, entertainer, and director of ‘Flappy New Years’ (an annual charity stream Adler co-hosts with a variety of suiters.) He appears alongside Adler and is always a fun, sweet, and silly companion to Adler’s wholesome nature, and we can’t picture one without the other. Therefore, we felt it only made sense that both Blazen and Adler be included in this design as our “guests of honour.”

First time backing a crowdfunding campaign? Nervous? Fear not! Here’s how it works:

Pledge for the rewards you want now, pay for them later, when the campaign ends! You won’t be charged until the campaign ends and only if we reach our initial funding goal. You can cancel or adjust your pledge anytime before the campaign ends too.

Campaign Start: Dec 15 2021

Campaign Length: 30 days

Campaign End: Jan 14 2022

Backer Surveys Sent Out: Jan 28~ 2022

Campaign Funds Received: Est. Jan 28  Feb 11 2022

Making of All the Things: 30-60 days (longer for custom items)

Rewards Fulfilled: Mar – July 2022

We have left a large cushion for things to go wrong, and so the estimated delivery of July 2022 is our worst case scenario. We will hopefully have items in hand by March, and depending on how successful the fundraiser is, begin shipping by mid-to-late March. Most smaller items will be shipped untracked through Canada Post, to save on cost. You should hopefully begin seeing items arrive within March if you are in Canada, March-April if you are in the USA, and May-June, if you are outside Canada/USA. All orders with custom items (including orders with any “Pal of Feral!” designs) may take until July 2022 to be delivered, due to the time-consuming nature of custom items, and delayed manufacturing times.

Here is a breakdown of shipping costs per reward tier:

ATTENTION UNITED KINGDOM BACKERS!

Due to the complexity of UK VAT laws, we unfortunately cannot offer shipping to the UK through our crowdfunding platform. If the campaign is successful, we will look into options to sell leftover items through a service like Etsy, who will handle VAT taxes for us. Feel free to contact us, if you’d like to be informed if/when this becomes available. We’re sorry for the inconvenience!
